Riot Shield

Nickname for the Mirror Shield, the 3rd shield upgrade. Can deflect lasers, most notably the ones generated by eyes on the walls of Turtle Rock. The logic of aLttP Randomizer would consider the Riot Shield to be a Go Mode item if a progression item is located on Laser Bridge, but most runners have ways of sneaking past the lasers even without the Riot Shield.

Presumably received this nickname due to the fact that it kind of looks like the player is holding a giant riot shield when equipped.
