Fetch Quest Items

A Fetch Quest Item refers to an item that must be traded in for another item. Two of the most common fetch quest items include the Shovel and the Mushroom.

• The Shovel must be used by digging in the Light World flute boy’s grove for an item.
• The Mushroom must be traded to the witch outside the potion shop for an item.

Likewise, the Magic Powder doesn’t directly allow you to progress, but can yield an item by using it on the altar in the Bat Cave outside of the blacksmith’s house (although it has additional utility as a source of healing).
